Wonderful small town hospital and nursing home. Staff are very competent and exceptionally caring. Have used the facility for my children and grandparents. Would recommend to anyone.
Small things they will definitely take care of you. Pretty much a in and out hospital with not a long wait time.
Putnam General is the best way to go
Physical therapy department is the best in the business. Very caring and thorough. I recommend their services to anyone. They are true healers.
I thought that the local hospital in our community was there for people who may not have other medical options nor medicaid or a lot of money. My son had a toothache and had no other recourse so he went to our emergency room. He tooth had been pulled and left a hole in the gum that was infected. The Physician gave him a prescription for antibiotic. He received a bill from the hospital for several hundred dollars and I paid it thinking that was the end of the matter. Now I have a bill from the Jasper Emergency Physicians for $491. I feel this amount is way out of proportion to the service provided. if we can't go to our local emergency room when no other options are available what does it say about our County.
This ER is ok for small things but they are not equipped for anything major.
